Responsibilities
- Assist in the designing, developing and enhancing electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices.
- Creating automated systems and the software to control them
- Knowledge about different sensing technologies (e.g. Thermal, Torque, vibration etc.)
- Knowledge about different communication protocols (e.g. UART, RS232, Serial etc.)
- Conduct research and analyses to support engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
- Participate in prototype building and testing activities.
- Learn about compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Create outline designs.
- Methodically perform experiments, analyze data, and evaluate outcomes.
- Identify, create, and implement out of box solutions to problems.
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate the functionality and safety of designs.
- Alter and adjust design to fulfill requirements and eradicate malfunctions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical & Electronics engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge in CAD software such as Creo, UGNX or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
