Role Summary:

As part of our Finance function, the AP/AR Supervisor- EMEA & APAC will compute, classify, record, and verify financial data to support accurate and timely financial reporting. He / She will be responsible for accuracy and efficiency of the team under them.

**This position is in office 5 days a week working a time of 1500-2400 IST shift.

Core Role Duties:

  • End to end management of Client Billing along with the team of AR Analysts

  • Assist with the accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.

  • Review, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies (with guidance from management) in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, maturely and professionally.

  • Daily processing of cash deposits and competent on the use of basic Treasury reporting systems.

  • Match billing instructions with the contracts / approved estimates Media order.

  • Assist in weekly billing to customers.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close.

  • Maintains relationships with Clients and internal business partners..

  • End to end management of Vendor Invoice booking, Vendor Payments & Vendor Reconciliations along with the team of AP Analysts

  • Assist with the accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.

  • Review, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies (with guidance from management) in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, maturely and professionally.

  • Daily / regular processing of Vendor Payments & Vendor communications as needed.

  • Match Vendor Invoices with the PO / Media Order & account the same in the ERP.

  • Track the team’s performance on a daily basis and escalate in case of any roadblocks, to the manager for a solution.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close.

  • Maintains relationships with Vendors and internal business partners.

Education & Required Experience: 8+ years with 3+ years in a Team Lead Role

  • 8+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Media experience is a plus.

  • Experience using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, word processing, and email communication.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to clients.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

The job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation and editing, communicating by email and use scheduling software. Specific knowledge and use of all media planning and buying tools and business software that Billups utilizes; for example, eTelmar, Geopath/ADS, Billups platform, Carto, ESRI.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
