About the role

As an integral part of the Subcontract Management Team, the Subcontract Administrator will:

  • Draft subcontract terms and conditions
  • Draft Teaming Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding and Proprietary Information Agreements and processes the agreements for approval
  • Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Conduct competitions; evaluates proposals; and supports source selections
  • Leads negotiations with Subcontractors and subsequently through execution, manages the subcontracts documents, including drafting correspondence, tracking deliverables, processing invoices and maintaining the contractual record.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration
  • 5-7 years of Subcontract Administration and/or procurement experience in the defence sector
  • Strong negotiations and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) procurement regulations and terms and conditions
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Language Requirements in Quebec

Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
