Global Accounts Director

Job Purpose

To support the Global accounts director, in all areas her commercial activities with any tasks related to projects, sales activity and internal commercial topics.

Tasks and Responsibilities

General Duties

  • Support the Global Account Director in all areas of his/her commercial activities
  • Handle customer enquiries and requests via telephone/email
  • Participation to clients meetings when relevant
  • Manage some projects internally, working with development across regions
  • Work closely with internal departments across different functions and divisions
  • Raise sample requests and send samples to the customers or divisions working on the accounts
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Dept during order processing
  • Organize presentations and quote letters
  • Keep customer records, pricing and requirements up-to-date
  • Support customer complaints – internally & externally
  • Work with Microsoft Office and Product Vision to manage projects and administrative tasks
  • Managing Regulatory enquiries (documents, specific enquiries)
  • Update the Global & regional fragrance portfolio presentation & samples
  • Update Quarter report presentation with sales analysis
  • Global & Regional Forecast follow up

 

Project Management

  • Coordinate global & regional projects across the divisions
  • Enter projects on PV Fragrance, Marketing, GC, PPD and follow-up on projects efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work closely with the lab to organize submissions and samples across the divisions
  • Prepare and ship submissions to customers
  • Raising Immi’s for new approved fragrances
  • Prepare and communicate quotations to customers
  • Prepare submission presentations

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and a team player
  • Skilled in solving problems fast and effectively 
  • Customer focused, commercial mindset, sales experience
  • Be thorough and clear in their communication
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively with attention to detail and quality
  • Able to prioritize workload without supervision
  • Good time management
  • Highly proficient in using Excel spreadsheets, making ppt presentations
  • Self-motivated with ability to show initiative
