Job Summary
The Senior COBRA Analyst will be responsible for managing COBRA administration for high complexity clients and their employee’s COBRA benefits, FMLA, retirees and LOA (company leave programs). This position will involve fiscal month end duties, COBRA rate entry and maintenance, COBRA database maintenance and responding to federal/state compliance inquiries.Required Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years with COBRA, FMLA, LOA and retiree administration/coordination experience and 3+ years experience with COBRA EAS & PowerStepp
- Knowledgeable in handling various types of Federal, State andCompany leave programs.
- Understanding of Administration System processes (premium administration, eligibility, claims, billing, commissions, reporting and premium administration).
- Customer service experience in a professional setting
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Must possess strong organizational skills that will allow for multi-tasking
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- JD Edwards
- In depth knowledge of COBRA laws, HIPAA portability and eligibility laws
- Knowledge of Social Security & Medicare law
- Must live in the following States:

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
