Summary
The Corporate Philanthropy Strategist plays a vital role in shaping a company’s corporate and community engagement initiatives by developing and executing philanthropic strategies that align with philanthropic and business goals and community needs. This role focuses on corporate and community relations strategy, soliciting charitable contributions, and ensuring partnerships maximize positive impact for the organization and align with the mission and values of CHS.
Primary Job Functions
Duties
- Through strategic portfolio management, build sustainable corporate partnerships to secure financial contributions and promote company engagement with CHS.
- Collaborate with CHS staff to create and implement engagement opportunities that align corporate partnerships with the mission of CHS.
- Work closely with fundraising, marketing, program and business development teams to create strategies that integrate corporate giving initiatives.
- Support Board Members and other leading volunteers in development activities and provide staff leadership for related committees and groups
- Serves as an active member of the Agency Leadership Team
Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment
- Display sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
- Demonstrate the CHS Mission, Vision, and Values in the performance of all job duties.
- Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training, and education, as well as the quality process.
- Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures, and other obligations.
- Perform other duties related to department goals and projects as needed.

Schedule Expectations
This position is a salary-exempt job that will require some weekends and evening work, along with working our standard scheduled week. The ability to work flexible hours is required to meet business needs. If working remotely, you will be required to be available by telephone and email during specified hours as required. Frequent travel is required to conduct business-related activities.
