We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Communications Specialist who will provide communications, digital content, and technical SharePoint support as part of the ASA (FM&C) Training Support Services program. This role combines expertise in public affairs and digital publishing with strong technical capability in SharePoint administration and design. The candidate will develop, maintain, and update SharePoint sites and communication materials to support workforce development, training initiatives, and executive-level messaging. This individual must be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of producing high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.

Required Skills:
·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or technical writing.
·         Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SharePoint (Online or on-premise).
·         Experience with content management, site design, list/library management, and site permissions in SharePoint.
·         Proficient in creating/editing content using Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and web publishing tools.
·         Experience editing, proofreading, and formatting communication products for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
·         Ability to manage and update SharePoint portals to support enterprise communication and knowledge sharing.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Desired Skills:
·         Experience supporting DoD or Federal communications programs.
·         Working knowledge of DoD communication policy, branding, and approval workflows.
·         Ability to create dashboards or visual content using tools such as Power BI, Canva, or Adobe InDesign.
·         Experience developing content for executive-level briefings, newsletters, or strategic communications.
·         Familiarity with information architecture best practices for intranet usability.
·         Experience integrating SharePoint with collaboration platforms such as MS Teams.
·         Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
