The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking to hire a Dental Assistant II. The Dental Assistant II position is located at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Shelbyville dental clinic located at 77 Mack Walters Road, Suite 300, Shelbyville, KY 40065. This position works as a chairside dental assistant, working with dental providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the faculty, peers and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care.
Serve as chairside dental assistant to dentists as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) or a surgical assistant, providing four hand dental assisting as needed.
Greet, seat, and schedule patients as needed.
Maintain stock of supplies throughout the clinic, and order as needed.
Stock, prepare, organize, break down and clean operatories.
Sterilize clinic instruments following appropriate infection control procedures.
Take radiographs as needed.
Maintain HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$27.85Target Compensation Minimum:
$18.56Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
