As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating human resource appointments for new caregivers while ensuring the highest standards of customer service are consistently upheld. This role involves accurate and timely communication with candidates and newly hired caregivers, as well as the management and resolution of OneHR cases. You will support applicant tracking system (ATS) activities, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity, and perform quality control checks to confirm compliance with onboarding requirements. In addition, you will monitor and report on new caregiver progress, with a focus on ensuring readiness for HR appointments and a smooth transition into the organization. 

A caregiver in this position works five days per week on-site at Akron General from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Facilitate and coordinate new caregiver human resource appointments.  
  • Ensure exceptional customer service expectations are delivered using Start with H.E.A.R.T.   
  • Manage all candidate and new caregiver communications to ensure accuracy and timeliness.  
  • Review and appropriately address AskHR cases and referral programs.  
  • Track and report timely on new caregiver status as it relates to HR appointment readiness and attendance, missing documents and clearance.  
  • Ensure new caregiver onboarding is complete by their start date.  
  • Provide support with miscellaneous projects and auditing requests as needed.  
  • Oversee the onboarding, training and coaching of fellow caregivers.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience 
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with computers and in Microsoft office suite. 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Previous human resources or customer service experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. 
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations.
  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.           
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
