Salary Range: $90416 - $117545 Per Year
Job Summary: This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DATA CTR LOB/SITE MGMT BR J9(HAC)/HYBRID CLOUD SOLUTIONS.
Major Duties:
- Developing, implementing, integrating, applying, and managing a multi-faceted security program to include physical, personnel, information, industrial, intelligence, COMSEC, Tempest and IT security pertaining to SCI in the organization.
- Research, evaluate, design, develop, maintain, and manage the security systems, alarms, and measures for protection of the organization's SCI facilities and programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements governing same.
- Prepare detailed plans for installation, expansion, and modernization of existing SCI facilities, and systems to include intrusion detection, systems design, and access control.
- Directs and controls the planning, development, and implementation and administration of physical security measures in SCIFs.
- Conduct site inspections for evaluation of security practices and compliance requirements. Provide recommendations to the Commander, for changes necessary to meet requirements detailed in the security program to maintain a sound SCI security posture.
- Coordinates security requirements for visits to SCI facilities.
- Ensures that all releases, handlings, markings, safeguarding and storage, and destruction of sensitive but unclassified information, classified information, restricted data, and SCI are in accordance with national security policy.
