AR/AP Analyst – Europe (based in Poland)
Help shape the future of finance at embecta
We’re looking for an experienced AR/AP Analyst to join our growing European finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building embecta's European finance function as we expand our presence across the region.
In this role, you’ll bring your hands-on SAP experience and accounts payable/receivable expertise, along with an understanding of local finance practices in the EU. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic finance topics with day-to-day transactional tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute accounting operations across accounts payable and receivable
Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in SAP S/4 HANA and Blackline
Maintain compliance with GAAP and local EU regulatory requirements
Operate within SOX/internal controls frameworks, ensuring full adherence
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet items, including subledgers
Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems
Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial workflows and data integrity
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational finance environment
Strong working knowledge of SAP (S/4 HANA), Excel, Power BI, Blackline, and Concur
Experience working with SOX or other internal control frameworks is essential
Comfortable managing both operational tasks and contributing to process design
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
Culturally aware, and confident working with global teams and outsourced providers
