What We Offer

The pay range for this position $19.59/hour - $24.49/hour, based on experience, based on experience, and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits.

Schedule and Work Location

This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. Oncall positions may have variable schedules. This position’s hours are flexible, typically working between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday- Friday, with weekends as an option and depending on business needs. This position can also expect to work a variable schedule that will include evenings and weekends, as needed. Oncall positions work no more than 39 hours per week.

In this position you can expect to work a hybrid schedule based on needs. On-site work will be based at City Park Golf Course but may also require you to be at other golf courses across Denver, as needed.

The City and County of Denver’s Golf Courses are currently seeking an adept and accomplished administrative professional to join this team as Administrative Support Assistant supporting centralized operations for the Denver Golf’s network of facilities.

As an Administrative Support Assistant supporting Denver Golf, you will:

  • Promote and demonstrate a high level of customer service by listening and responding to customer feedback in a timely and courteous manner through phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Manage a high-volume email inbox to answer and dispatch communications to the appropriate individual or team
  • Assist with Denver Golf program registration and address registration requests from customers, as needed
  • Organize inventory, track assets, and purchase supplies and equipment for programs across Denver
  • Database management
  • Proofread and edit player communications
  • Maintain records of employee certifications while proactively planning recertification opportunities for internal staff members
  • Travel between, deliver supplies to, and provide administrative support at Denver Golf Courses as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

What You’ll Bring

Additionally, our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, including experience addressing customer communications via email, phone, and in-person
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs

Required Minimum Qualifications

·Education Requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.

·Experience Requirement: One (1) year of clerical experience.

·Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.

·License/Certifications: None

Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for this position is $19.59/hour - $24.49/hour, based on related experience and additional pay factors.
