Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Governance Leadership: Own and lead operational governance for servicing systems, with a strong emphasis on access control frameworks, critical data field accuracy, and system integrity
Fee Governance & Controls: Direct oversight of servicing-related fee structures; ensure compliance, accuracy, transparency, and alignment with investor and regulatory requirements.
Change Management Oversight: Govern change control practices related to servicing platforms, including review of test plans, implementation protocols, and change traceability.
Operational Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor key operational risk indicators. Prepare concise, data-driven reports to inform senior leadership and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for fee governance and operational access topics, facilitating alignment between Technology, Compliance, Finance, Investor Reporting, and Servicing teams.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Partner with IT, Compliance, and Operations to identify potential operational or access-related risks, implement remediation strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
Audit & Regulatory Readiness: Support internal and external audit activities by ensuring documentation, processes, and access controls meet or exceed compliance requirements.
Policy & Procedure Development: Lead the creation and continual enhancement of governance-related procedures, ensuring documentation reflects best practices, regulatory updates, and business changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field or relevant experience
Proven leadership in developing and implementing governance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
Proven experience in fee management, preferably within the mortgage servicing industry, preferred.
Experience with servicing systems, access controls, and change management protocols.
Understanding of servicing-related fees and regulatory requirements.
Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Strong communication skills and a strategic mindset grounded in practical execution.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication for policy development and training.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
