About the Role
We are looking for a Director/ VP of Engineering to lead and manage the day-to-day Engineering operations of our engineering teams while ensuring alignment with our long-term technology goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple technical initiatives, and is confident working closely with senior leadership including leadership team.
You will be expected to manage an application development team, implement best practices, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Frequent travel to the USA is required to collaborate with US-based teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational execution of all engineering activities.
- Drive agile development practices and ensure on-time delivery of product releases.
- Collaborate with the CTO and Product Team on technology roadmaps and priorities.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and support architectural decision-making.
- Work closely with the CEO on high-visibility projects and business-critical initiatives.
- Serve as the engineering point of contact for clients and product teams.
- Ensure strong coordination across Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success teams.
- Define, implement, and monitor engineering KPIs to ensure performance and quality.
- Build and nurture a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence in engineering.
- Establish and manage KPIs for performance, velocity, and quality.
- Mentor and manage team leads and senior engineers to foster a culture of ownership and innovation.
- Oversee technical hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Travel frequently to the United States for technical reviews, and strategy alignment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/management capacity.
- Strong background in full-stack or backend development and system design.
- Proven experience managing engineering delivery in fast-paced or growth environments.
- Strong understanding of modern development practices, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across geographies.
- Experience interacting with executive leadership and contributing to high-level strategic discussions.
- Prior experience working with or in the US market is highly desirable.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally (primarily to the US) up to 25–40% of the time.

- Experience with React front-end and .net backend development.
- Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or high-growth tech companies.
- Technical certifications or project management credentials (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
