Job Description:
The Sr. HCM Analyst, Workday reports to the Director, HRIS Workday and will work cross functionally with the Finance and IT teams. This is a key role responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday HCM through troubleshooting issues/inquiries, researching and implementing new functionality, recommending process improvements, and supporting our new practice integrations. This role requires cross functional system knowledge
Responsibilities
This role may specialize in certain functional areas but should have sound cross-functional system knowledge and act as super-user for Workday HCM modules which could include, Reporting, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Core HCM.
Responsible for data conversion and system set-up for New Practice Integrations and Tuck-ins
Responsible for Workday Business Process Configuration, Report writing, calculated field, and EIB processing to support cross functional modules
Understands, troubleshoots, and recommends improvements to Workday security
Partners with Functional SMEs to identify and document project requirements, scope, and project plans/milestones
Drives projects to completion managing timeline, configuration and testing to ensure successful, accurate and on-time implementation based on prioritization
Develops and executes test cases ensure seamless and efficient project and enhancement delivery
Creates UAT cases and plan, guiding stakeholders through user acceptance testing to seamless and efficient project and enhancement delivery
Responsible for reviewing and updating status in project prioritization schedule in partnership with HRIS leadership
Develops, maintains, designs, writes technical specifications, and documents system modifications adhering to the OO HRIS Change Management Process and Standard Operating Procedures
Consult with stakeholders to resolve challenges and business problems by responding, developing, implementing, and executing proactive solutions as needed.
Assists in leading the review, testing and implementation of Workday system upgrades
Performs regression testing, and new feature impact assessments associated with Workday system upgrades.
Keeps up to date with the latest Workday functionality
Proactively seeks ways to improve manual processes leveraging Workday
Works closely with practice HR, Corporate HR, IT and Finance
Conducts training and creates training materials for end-users to ensure accurate use of the system
Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, a related discipline, or 5 years of systems/analyst experience, with at least 2 years supporting Workday HCM or equivalent HRIS platform in a technical role
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced functionality in Excel and Word
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, be an excellent collaborator, self-starter and proactive
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and present it clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Dedication to accuracy and attention to detail with a commitment to customer service and professionalism
System implementation and/or merger acquisition systems support
Proven work experience as an HRIS Analyst
