Our Client is looking for skilled Data Scientist to join their team, specializing in the energy industry. In this role, you will work with complex, real-world datasets to derive insights and develop machine learning models at scale. Your expertise will be critical in driving data-driven decision-making and innovation within our organization.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret complex, messy datasets from the energy sector to extract meaningful insights.

Develop and implement machine learning models (e.g., classification, clustering, decision trees, artificial neural networks, regression) to solve business problems.

Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis and modeling.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve processes and outcomes.

Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to manipulate large datasets and draw actionable insights.

Work with cloud platforms (Azure or other) to deploy machine learning models and manage data workflows.

Monitor and maintain model performance, iterating on designs as necessary to enhance accuracy and reliability.

Required Experience/Skills

Proven experience working with real-world, messy data, particularly within the energy industry.

Demonstrated experience with machine learning work at scale, including developing and deploying models in a cloud environment.

Proficient in data cleaning and validation techniques to ensure data integrity.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.

Knowledge of various machine learning models, including classification, clustering, decision trees, artificial neural networks, and regression techniques.
