Intern Role intended for current students (BS/MS/PhD) AND enrolled in a full-time degree program after completion of the internship. Available internship dates: May 19 – August 8, 2025 and June 16 – September 5, 2025. Work Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood Shores, CA & Pleasanton, CA)

What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)

To be considered for a Software Engineer Intern position in the Oracle Analytics Cloud organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below.

Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, by listing relevant academic/professional/personal projects on your resume.

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field AND returning to the program after completion of the internship.
  • Have completed at least your sophomore year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
  • Are proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in Java AND

Are proficient in at least one of these additional programming languages:

  • C, C++, JavaScript, Python, SQL
  • Have the ability to implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures in very complex systems with the highest quality.
  • Have completed academic/professional/personal projects, and or research in two or more of the following technical areas:
    • Databases
    • Computer Systems
    • Computer Operations
    • Linux / UNIX
    • Object Oriented Design
    • Operating Systems
    • User Interface Design

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.

The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.

What You’ll Do:

You will apply your knowledge of software development to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing enterprise class software application. Working within a highly successful product development team within an agile, iterative process, you will support, debug, and provide solutions, engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches to address the challenges in time-sensitive fashion.

This role is for you if you love solving enterprise grade cloud services problems. You must be firm believer of solving sophisticated problems by writing code. We have product code in all possible layers of complex multi-tier distributed environment.
