An analytics engineer writes complex SQL to extract data from a RDBMS. Then they construct somewhat complex formulas in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to visually display the data in dashboards. The dashboards empower our Behavioral Health clients to make decisions and meet regulatory requirements. The data presented in a dashboard must be accurate, or our clients will lose confidence in the product. Every team member rigorously tests the product and follows Agile Scrum methodologies to make consistent progress.

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug an analytics product containing elements of data extraction and data visualization.
• Create and update SQL to meet functional requirements.
• Construct data visualizations and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Tableau.
• Work independently to turn a few sentences of requirements into a unit of functionality within a two-week cycle.
• Validate the data presented to prove it is correct.
• Collaborate with an experienced team that follows Agile Scrum processes.
