The Role

Zeller has recently launched its payments and banking product to the Australian market. As we rapidly scale we are growing a dedicated quality team to drive our obsession with product quality, and are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer.

You Will

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
  • Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Your Skills And Attributes

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in software engineering (or related)
  • 4+ experience in software testing (Automation )
  • Experience in Javascript/ Typescript is a must
  • In-depth understanding of any programming language
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
