Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions in cloud environments, particularly within Azure. This role requires proficiency in data engineering, pipeline development, and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific applications. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices, while effectively communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop AI Architectures: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient AI architectures within Azure cloud environments.
- Data Engineering and Pipeline Development: Build robust data pipelines to ensure seamless integration and processing of structured and unstructured data for AI models.
- Deploy Large Language Models (LLMs): Customize and deploy LLMs for a variety of business applications, ensuring optimized performance for specific use cases.
- Ethical AI Practices: Implement AI ethics and bias mitigation techniques, ensuring responsible and transparent AI deployments.
- Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and gather technical requirements, translating these into AI-driven solutions.
- GenAI Engineering/Development: Work on Generative AI tasks, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), using Azure and similar environments.
- Integrate and Optimize AI Tools: Implement and fine-tune tools like Azure AI Search and Azure Document Intelligence for enhanced functionality and business use cases.
Mandatory Skills
- Python: Advanced programming and scripting skills in Python, with a focus on AI and data engineering applications.
- FastAPI or Equivalent: Experience with FastAPI (or a comparable framework) for building robust and scalable APIs.
- OpenAI: Strong hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs and models, with the ability to fine-tune and deploy for production.
- Single and Multi-Agent Frameworks: Proficiency in frameworks designed for creating autonomous agents and multi-agent systems.
- Azure AI Search or Equivalent: Expertise in using Azure AI Search for efficient information retrieval from large datasets.
- Azure Document Intelligence or Equivalent: Knowledge and experience with Azure Document Intelligence or similar tools to extract and process data from various document formats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/Client, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an AI Engineer, focusing on cloud-based AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI model development, including training, fine-tuning, and deployment of LLMs.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure Cloud Services, including compute, storage, networking, and AI-related tools.
- In-depth knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Generative AI with RAG or similar techniques.
- Knowledge of MLOps for managing the machine learning lifecycle.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications in Azure AI or Azure Data Engineering are a plus.
