Remote Senior Automation Tester - JavaScript with verification

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Tester with expertise in JavaScript to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision, adept at understanding complex requirements, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and functionalities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript frameworks
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality
• Incorporate test cases into the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Enhance and optimize the existing automation test suite for better coverage and efficiency
• Provide detailed test reports and feedback to the development team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on automation strategies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in test automation
• Strong experience with test automation using Playwright in TypeScript
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline and CI/CD practices
• Proven experience with parallel testing
• Proficient in CSS for effectively locating web elements
• Excellent understanding of test design principles and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent work ethics and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
