RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Front End Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key driver in advancing our organization's digitalization initiatives to lead the front-end development work
• Developing responsive web applications with high-quality, performance-driven code
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions
• Implementing user interface to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience
• Optimize application performance by implementing efficient data binding and state management techniques
• Thorough testing and debugging of front-end applications are essential to ensure smooth functionality and compatibility across various browsers and devices
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development allows you to suggest improvements for the development process
• Collaboration with back-end developers is vital for integrating front-end components with server-side logic
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to established standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end issues or bugs reported by users
  
  

_x000D_REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong focus on Angular framework (e.g. extensive knowledge of Angular concepts, such as components, directives, services, and dependency injection) interfacing with .Net Core WebAPI
• Proven track record of successfully developing front ends for data driven enterprise software in the cloud, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality software solutions
• Strong technical expertise in front-end software development methodologies, programming languages (e.g., Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Prior experience working with the Agile team for software development and version control (e.g., git), and Unit Testing service-oriented architecture
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and code collaboration tools
• Experience with performance optimization techniques, such as lazy loading, server-side rendering, and change detection strategies
• Cultural awareness with the ability to work with stakeholders and partners from different countries and cultures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Fluency in English is essential
  
  

_x000D_The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
