We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote team and collaborate with our customer to design, plan, and manage the data migration process.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects, ensuring seamless delivery of large, complex solutions. Utilizing your expertise in data migration and user requirements gathering, you will design and architect solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. With your knowledge of cloud infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and networking, you will coordinate with different teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data migration and connectivity solutions for Pharmaceutical Labs
- Collaborate with different teams like the storage team, networking team, etc., to ensure successful project completion
- Lead the team in developing high-level, low-level end-to-end infra design, utilizing draw.io tool
- Ensure seamless delivery of large and complex solutions within the set timelines and budget
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and design or architect solutions accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and networking trends
- Ensure cloud infrastructure security and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering or AWS Cloud architecture
- Expertise in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process for large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects
- Ability to gather user requirements and design or architect solutions accordingly
- Deep knowledge of on-premise infra design, cloud infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and networking
- Experience in cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP), Linux expertise, and proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, compute, ECS, ECR, EKS, RDS, compute, server migration service, and data migration service
- Experience with containerization technology such as Docker and related management systems such as Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Knowledge of data migration from on-premises to cloud, networking terminology (on-premise/cloud), and design tools like Draw.io
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Experience/knowledge of providing IT support to Pharmaceutical Labs
- Experience with Networking and Content Delivery on AWS
