About the Role As a senior software engineer, you'll be a key player within our development team, involved in the full development lifecycle of new products and features for our cloud-based web applications. Working closely with all areas of the company, you'll help to translate business requirements into high-quality solutions using modern frameworks and technologies. Your Skills and Experience Strong experience in building distributed software systems using microservices. Strong experience in building REST APIs. Strong experience with event-based communication. Experience running distributed systems on Amazon AWS and managing infrastructure with Terraform. Ideally, some experience using event sourcing. Experience in building web frontend SPAs. Experience in automated testing, ideally with TDD. Knowledge of the whole SDLC and how to iteratively develop new products and features (Scrum, XP, Lean). Our Technology Stack REST Microservices in C# ASP.NET hosted on AWS ECS and serverless on AWS Lambda. Data persisted in MySQL and, for newer services, in DynamoDB. SNS/SQS for event-based communication. Frontends predominantly built in React, though some ASP.NET MVC and Angular pages exist. Infrastructure managed with Terraform, though some legacy services are managed with AWS CloudFormation, scripts, and some ClickOps. (We expect an overlap with the above, but we don't expect you to tick every single box, as long as there's a willingness to learn and adapt.)
