Homeoffice Frontend Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Frontend Engineer to join the Hubble team! The Hubble team is the model engineering group, focused on providing sports betting prices from our in house models. Within the organisation, the Quant team is responsible for developing the models and tools required for trading a wide range of sports. We have a clear aim of providing the best betting experience to our current customers and those we will acquire during our expansion across the globe. This will mean producing prices for the full range of markets that our customers expect, same game accumulators, 100% betting availability and 100% cash out. We see the Quant team as a major

driver within this process and want to talk to people who believe they could help us become one of the leading betting brands worldwide.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Take ownership of the SDLC: from the initial proposal, through planning and implementation, all the way to release and maintenance
• Work with the latest and greatest technologies both on the web and infrastructure side, a few examples include: TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, and many more
• Be a part of the emerging open source culture, dedicate your time to working on open source software
• Maintaining build processes and tooling to improve the throughput of frontend engineers
• Join the Frontend Community, where you’ll be adding to our growing team of frontend experts with opportunities to learn, grow and share your knowledge
  
  

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• Expertise in React, including hooks, Suspense, and concurrent mode OR experience with Vue.js
• Knowledge of modular software architecture, including microservices and micro frontends
• Ant Design - is the design system and component library we’re using, but it’s easy to pick up, as long as you have experience using a design system, such as Material Design, Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Blueprint, Fluent UI, Grommet, Shards, Chakra UI, OnsenUI, etc
• Attention to detail and eagerness to deliver quality products
• Knowledge of best practices, patterns, and understanding of key principles of developing software
• Be a team player, we’re stronger together

• Experience in the betting/gaming industry
• Experience creating applications with high-frequency, low-latency data changes
• Proven track record of being able to navigate complicated domains and business requirements
• History of good relationships with users and managers in a collaborative effort to improve the quality of software
