Responsibilities
- Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
- Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
- Drive the design, implementation, and management for expanding observability infrastructure, keeping up to date with new technologies
- Lead sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
- Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design, implement, and maintain multiple business offerings
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
- Manage and secure cloud-based environments (AWS)
- Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
- Periodical On-Call responsibility, alongside your fellow team members
- Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Expertise with container based technologies, e.g. Dockers, Kubernetes
- Expertise with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation
- Good understanding of networking and security concepts
- Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools
- Great programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell
- Experience in Linux Systems Administration, scripting and troubleshooting in a production environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications)
- Experience with microservices, serverless architecture
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana)
- Knowledge in Jenkins, Groovy, CDK
