Description

We are seeking a group of Help Desk Support Agents to provide exceptional support to our internal employees via inbound phone calls. Agents will be trained on our internal tools, systems, and processes, and will be responsible for managing a ticketing queue and troubleshooting various issues that employees may encounter. Types of calls could include password resets, server issues, VPN/connection issues, Outlook, specific application issues, and more.

Required Qualifications & Technical Knowledge

  • 12-24 months of previous technology experience in a similar Service Desk environment or equivalent experience.
  • Troubleshooting general Microsoft software products such as Windows 10, Windows security updates/patching, O365, Outlook email, Teams.
  • Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructures.
  • Support for mobile devices such as iPhones and/or Androids.


Required Skills

  • Handling inbound phone calls and chats to provide basic to complex credential administration/password, computer setup, and configuration.
  • Utilizing existing knowledge base content to search for known solutions and implement workarounds.
  • Following directions and processing large amounts of information in a customer-focused, friendly manner in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in efficient triage of problems, effective use of solutioning tools, and escalation processes to quickly resolve or escalate incidents requiring further subject matter expertise.


Common Call/Chat Types

  • Assisting with encryption password and Active Directory passwords.
  • Addressing remote access questions from a predominantly work-from-home customer base.
  • Software installations, printer setup, and other peripherals.
