We're supporting a fully remote tech startup, founded in Amsterdam, in finding a data-driven yet creative Growth Marketer. This is your chance to shape the growth strategy for a company that’s transforming how businesses and travelers connect in a two-sided marketplace that’s ready to scale.


About the role:


As a Growth Marketer, you’ll drive the expansion of both the B2B and B2C sides of the marketplace. The company is currently in the early stages of marketing, having established a solid foundation but with significant room to grow. You'll take the lead in expanding their digital presence, optimizing existing channels, and exploring new ones. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and loves the challenge of scaling a growing startup.


What you’ll do:


  • User acquisition: Craft and execute multi-channel campaigns to attract businesses and consumers. Leverage SEO, content marketing, paid ads, and partnerships for growth.
  • Retention & engagement: Build strategies to boost user engagement and loyalty, including email marketing, personalization, and community-building efforts.
  • Data insights: Analyze user behavior to uncover trends and optimize marketing efforts. Use tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Hotjar to drive decisions.
  • Content strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling, targeted content that drives traffic and conversions.
  • Growth experiments: Run A/B tests and experiments to find and scale effective growth tactics, learning from both successes and failures.
  • Tool management: You'll work with a suite of marketing tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Hubspot for email campaigns, and SEMrush for SEO analysis, but there are lots of space to try new tools.


Who you are:


  • Experienced: 3-5 years in growth marketing, preferably in a fast-paced startup or growth environment. Even better if you've worked with a two-sided marketplace with all the complexity that comes to that
  • Fluent in English: Fluent in English, both written and verbal. it's a plus if you speak any other language, such as German, French or Spanish.
  • Data-driven: Skilled in using analytics tools to inform strategy and measure outcomes.
  • Creative: Able to think outside the box to craft innovative marketing strategies that resonate with users.
  • Self-starter: Thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced setting where you take initiative and self-ownership.
  • Tech-savvy: Familiar with the tools mentioned, and comfortable learning new ones as needed.
  • Passionate: Excited about building and scaling impactful solutions in the travel & hospitality industry.
