Greenhouse is searching for a Corporate Security Engineer to join our team!

Security at Greenhouse is essential to our success and for building & maintaining customer trust. It is a major focus of ours, influencing how we write software, deploy infrastructure, and secure corporate systems.

As a Corporate Security Engineer, you will contribute to the growth of our security program and partner with our compliance and IT teams on securing our business systems. Working alongside the rest of the security team, you will design and develop tools to keep our corporate devices, networks, and services safe against emerging threats. You will identify areas of improvement and define projects to continue pushing our security program to the next level.

What You’ll Do


  • Mature our Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes to meet compliance requirements and scale with the organization.
  • Collaborate with our IT and Business System owners to harden, audit, and reduce risk across all of our IT and business systems
  • Prioritize vulnerability remediation for software on employee laptops and office systems
  • Define projects to improve our security metrics across our IT systems continuously
  • Improve visibility across Greenhouse IT and business systems to detect data loss or potential threats
  • Build solutions to automate compliance processes, threat hunting, security detection, and response


You should have


  • Deep understanding of MacOS device management and endpoint security solutions, Jamf and Carbon Black Cloud experience, a plus
  • Experience with a programming/scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Bash
  • Working knowledge of modern identity and access management approaches such as Single Sign On, Directory Management, Access Provisioning, Multi-factor authentication
  • Proven experience in identifying and mitigating IT security risks with organizations
  • Working knowledge in implementing security detection and response capabilities across IT and business systems.

The national pay range for this role is $130,900 - $196,400. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
