Ideal Candidate
- Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and performant software and has experience building financial or accounting systems.
- Has an enthusiasm to help define what AI can do to automate the back office for millions of online business owners.
- Work closely with our Design, Product, AI and Engineering teams to develop and implement complex financial features and systems.
- Develop both frontend and backend functionality
- Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.
- Has 3-10+ years of software engineering experience
- Has past experience leading the development of complex financial or accounting features
- Worked on products with great UI & UX and have an opinion on the difference between great & mediocre design
- Has a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems
- Have experience of building their own startup or working as a founding engineer
- Has experience with modern infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, etc)
- TypeScript, React, NestJS (If you're familiar with different stack don't hesitate to apply)
