Gopher Sport is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of SPARK Sales Representative. SPARK programs (https://sparkpe.org/) are dedicated to promoting lifelong wellness through physical activity and nutrition programs that provide curriculum, staff development, and equipment. This position is responsible for successfully executing sales activities and strategies that achieve SPARK sales and profit goals.
Description
As the SPARK Sales Representative, you make sales happen! You will be responsible for achieving the revenue and profit targets for the world’s most researched physical education and physical activity programs. Customers look to you for expert guidance on SPARK solutions to support their program objectives.
What will you be doing?
The SPARK Sales Representative’s primary role is to achieve SPARK revenue and profit goals through the successful execution of defined sales strategies. To achieve these goals, the role will focus on the following areas:

What will you be doing?
The SPARK Sales Representative’s primary role is to achieve SPARK revenue and profit goals through the successful execution of defined sales strategies. To achieve these goals, the role will focus on the following areas:
- Understand current customer needs and utilize consistent, reoccurring sales activities to grow business from existing accounts.
- Generate sales with regular proactive prospecting activities to new accounts.
- Effectively manage and close all inbound sales leads, including project proposals and product inquiries.
- Represent SPARK at in-market events such as conferences, trade shows or site visits.
- Utilize expert knowledge of all SPARK products and services to train / assist internal staff on all SPARK curriculum selling opportunities.
- Demonstrate product and process expertise as the SPARK expert for our customers.
- Support SPARK revenue goals by achieving defined sales quality standards in all aspects of your work.

- College degree in business administration, education or related field from an accredited university/college, preferred; and or relevant work experience
- A lifestyle or educational background that is aligned with the company’s mission statement to, “help teachers and coaches get better results showing kids how to have fun and become healthier through physical activity.”
- NetSuite or CRM system experience preferred
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and a Windows Operating System
- Previous SPARK experience or knowledge preferred
