Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing complex applications using Java, open-source frameworks, and various technologies across multiple environments. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring and Apache frameworks. Ensure the delivery of high-performance, reliable, and scalable code.
  • API Development: Develop and integrate SOAP and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between systems and applications.
  • Microservices: Architect, develop, and deploy microservices-based solutions to enhance the modularity and maintainability of the applications.
  • Database Management: Design and manage SQL databases. Write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
  • DevOps: Utilize GitLab for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployment processes.
  • Cloud Technologies: Implement and manage applications on AWS. Use cloud-native services to enhance application performance and scalability.
  • Server Management: Administer and maintain Linux-based servers. Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex software issues. Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of professional development experience in complex environments using the following technologies:
  • Java: Proficient in Java programming with a deep understanding of object-oriented principles.
  • Open-Source Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and Apache frameworks.
  • SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization.
  • DevOps: Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • AWS Cloud: Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other cloud technologies.
  • Microservices Development: Proven experience in designing and developing microservices architecture.
  • API Development: Expertise in developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
  • Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux for development and server management.
  • Application Servers: Experience with Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic for deploying and managing Java applications.
