Responsibilities:

• Develop Boomi components and code as per established conventions and best practices
• Prepare and attend recurring stand-up meetings to discuss priorities, blockers and other topics to ensure activities are progressing
• Consider security, performance, scale and stability as utmost priority throughout
• Prepare and execute meaningful test cases to ensure functionality works as expected and meets defined acceptance criteria in non-prod environments
• Diligently documenting and updating relevant information in R&D ticketing system (JIRA)
• Follow established SDLC steps and procedures
• Help troubleshoot and resolve potential bug fixes in a timely manner
• Participate in brainstorming and other design activities related to new features and functionality roadmap
• Help scope and plan work based on evaluated complexity
  
  

Requirements

• Experienced with Boomi products, in particular Boomi Integration, Boomi API Mgmt. and Boomi Flow as well as associated platform APIs
• Experienced with Boomi runtimes (Atom, Molecule, Atom Cloud & API Gateway)
• Experienced integrating with SOAP, REST and GraphQL Webservices and APIs
• Experienced building and exposing CRUD REST APIs for external consumption, including advanced concepts (e.g. pagination)
• Experienced working with XML and JSON data structures, including canonical data models
• Experienced with RDBMs and SQL
• Experienced with basic VM administration across both Linux and Windows OS
• Experienced writing code in Groovy, Java and Javascript
• Familiar with agile development methodologies
• 65+ years of relevant IT experience and at least two years of working experience in Boomi or other integration tools
• Ad-hoc ability to accommodate different timezones as needed to attend USA/EU/APJ meetings
• Ability to intermittently work Saturday and Sunday to accommodate weekend release activities
• Effective communication skills to raise concerns, ask questions and ensure alignment within the team
  
  

Additional:

• Experienced with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Familiar with fundamental networking concepts, including load balancing and health probing
• Familiar with containerized deployments and container orchestration technology
• Familiar with infrastructure and application monitoring technology, including Open Telemetry, Java APM and log scraping
