Solutions Consultant Overview

Our commercial sales professionals of Account Executives and Account Managers rely on proactive technical support during the sales process and our expert Solution Consultant team is there to assist. Our Boomi SCs follow a prescriptive technical sales cycle and engagement model, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency. Our SC team is viewed as and treated more than just a technical resource. Rather, our SCs are considered valuable partners throughout the sales journey and help to build trust with our stakeholders and prospects. As a solutions consultant, you will help provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams throughout the sales process. This includes tasks such as account and prospect research, collaborative discovery and needs analysis, formulating a technical strategy and win-team, executing on that strategy and ultimately getting the technical win.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

  • Help identify prospect pain points, deliver presentations on Boomi products and services.
  • Assist the sales team in assessing potential application of company products and services to meet prospect needs.
  • Conduct prospect needs analysis using discovery and product demos
  • Coordinate internal specialists and interdepartmental activities to create a sales win team.
  • Assist sellers in creating demand for product by using technical competency to demonstrate how Boomi’s platform fits their needs
  • Discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers and business stakeholders alike.
  • Successfully engage at trade shows, marketing events and client facilities to deliver high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.
  • Verify operability of product and service configuration within the prospect’s environment if necessary via POCs
  • Able to articulate basic characteristics of the prospect’s current environment
  • Understands and analyzes industry and market knowledge
  • Supports RFI/RFP completion by answering in-scope technical questions for commercial and enterprise accounts
  • Has a high-level understanding of Boomi Partners and/or Channel’s role to create and position Boomi Solution
  • Think creatively to design business solutions that encompass the breadth of the Boomi portfolio
  • Have a passion for learning the Boomi platform offerings, be privy to other competitive offerings, as well as general IT changes and customer and industry trends
  • Leverage productivity tools such as Google Suite, web conferencing clients, and common IT tools used today (Slack, CRMs and ERPs, etc.)

Essential Requirements

  • Technical aptitude in a field such as engineering, computer science, business, math or applied sciences
  • A passion for problem solving and a bias towards innovation
  • A natural curiosity for how things work and the desire to build solutions to business and technical problems
  • Experience with customers, or being in front of clients/prospects/customers; any role where you’re customer-facing and demonstrating exceptional soft skills.
  • Ability to work independently but at the same time collaboratively within your team and cross functionally

Desirable Requirements

  • Must be located in Singapore, with a valid work visa if applicable.
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Boomi or with other Integration, API Management and Data Governance technologies preferred.
  • Experience in value-based sellingExperience/understandingof solution building with a programming language (Java, Python...) or a low code platform.
  • Experience/understanding of Cloud Networking concepts
  • Experience/understanding of Application Programing Interface (API)concepts
