Supervisor, Support Agent Technology (Remote)

In this role you will be responsible for the availability, technical and user support, and maintenance of Travel technology GDS and agent facing products. With the profile of a Senior Product Support Specialist, you have subject-matter expertise and consultation skills. You will conduct and attend product presentation and internal meetings, coordinate project plans and tasks, and manage customer/business expectations.

As a Supervisor, Support Agent Technology, you will

• Be in charge of support and administration of agent-facing products
• Maintain a good understanding of all GDS and BCD Travel technology products
• Provide consultation on business and technical analysis to project stakeholders and enterprise technology personnel
• Troubleshoot issues prior to release of a product and provide information/awareness of any shortfalls should release be required before these are available
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on cases received from the operational field
• Liaise with Product Implementation and Product Managers to keep user documents, manuals, test plans, FAQs etc, updated as needed
• Maintain core product documentation for support, agents, sales, learning and development, performance solutions and general communications
• Work with key functional areas as required: Client Facing Technology, IT, Project Management, Performance Solutions, Application Development and Design, Learning and Development as well as Account, Management and Operational teams
  
  

About You

• A history in the travel industry with extensive experience in business travel operational reservation work flow procedures
• Strong knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre) and agent- facing travel technology tools
• A proven background in product configuration, requirements gathering and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
• Excellent business writing skills, to ensure documentation is written in a clear and concise manner
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication skills in English
• Conversant in Web-based technology with technical and non-technical audience.
• Project Management experience is an asset
