Role Description

We are a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to leveraging cloud technology to drive business growth and efficiency. As we continue to build our MVP, we are seeking a motivated UX / GUI Intern to join our team for a 3 month unpaid internship and assist our Team supervised by Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in converting high-level business requirements into cutting-edge applications. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating elegant and intuitive user interfaces and experiences. You will work closely with our development and product teams to create engaging designs that meet user needs and business goals. As a UX/GUI Design Intern, you will play a crucial role in crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. You will create wireframes and mockups and will translate those into interactive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive business goals. You will have the opportunity to leverage your creativity, technical expertise, and user-centric mindset to shape the user experience across multiple platforms and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CTO, developers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to demonstrate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Ensure consistency and maintainability of UI codebase through effective documentation and adherence to coding standards.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
• Optimize UI performance for speed and scalability, considering factors such as browser compatibility and device capabilities.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in UX/UI design and front-end development to continually enhance our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, development, and business objectives.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a UX / GUI Design or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects
• Strong proficiency in crafting Wireframes / Mockups etc for Web and Mobile Applications.
• Expertise in using modern and popular designs tools like such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Good understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Complete understanding of design systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Basic understanding and familiarity with development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
