We are recruiting for a Security Analyst to join our collaborative global team. Your goal in this position is to perform the “eyes-on-glass” function through effective security event management which includes monitoring, alerting, and reporting to ensure that our organization’s operating environment is well-maintained from a security perspective. You’ll be keeping TAC safe and protected by establishing, operating and maintaining security controls and processes, conducting security investigations and incident response.

Here’s how

You'll span all areas of security operations, and interface with security architecture, offensive security, cloud platforms and DevSecOps. You will have a broad understanding and expertise to operate across a number of the noted areas of security. The main duties of this role are vulnerability management, threat prevention, and monitoring and incident response. You will

• Gather & document service and product information from application and system owners to assist in threat risk analysis.
• Implement, administer & support web application & infrastructure vulnerability scanning tools working with vendors as required.
• Implement and support security solutions to secure web hosting environments.
• Work directly with application and system owners to perform web application and infrastructure vulnerability scans.
• Report on vulnerabilities found for system owners and administrators, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Manage the policy and playbooks interfacing with managed security prevention services, spanning EDR, NDR and MDR.
• Manage the policy and implementation for threat prevention tooling.
• Work with offensive testing leads and managed security service providers to perform threat hunting activities.
• Monitor security events within SIEM, driving the investigation, escalation & triage of incidents, alerting any incident or potential incident.
• Act as a security incident responder in support of cyber incidents, and perform detailed examination of alerts

What you bring to this role:

• Previous experience of working as an IT Security Analyst, ideally at least three years.
• A strong knowledge of information security, with the ability to acquire knowledge of the latest practices and techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a forward thinking mindset.
• Ability to observe and understand IT systems to determine any upcoming risks to tackle them proficiently.
• Creative skills to identify future dangers and discover appropriate solutions to combat any adverse situations.
• Advanced knowledge of security controls implementation, advanced writing skills (technical and non technical)
• BA in IT specializing in Cybersecurity, IT or Computer Science
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP) and application development processes.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as MS Sentinel and QRadar and SOAR tools.
• Experience with Cloud based security tools (CSPM, CWPP), firewalls, IDS, PKI, and cryptography
