ABOUT THE JOB

Cloud Systems Application Engineer - LegalTech Software - Permanent - Fully Remote OR Hybrid/Nottingham

What you'll do

This role provides operational support to the Peppermint customer portfolio ensuring delivery of the very best environment for Peppermint customers. As Cloud Systems Application Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing services for the cloud platform as part of the IT Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that IT Operations as a team delivers performant and reliable platforms to our customers
• Providing case escalation to the Customer Support team with incident/problem diagnosis and rectification
• Performing routine daily checks, triage, and work to resolve any issues.
• Event and Incident Management for the Peppermint CX and CX365 Platforms maintained and managed by the IT Operations Team
• Delivering/managing planned change requests and maintenance activities on Peppermint Customer / Customer / Internal hosted infrastructure
• Performing customer deployment activities
• Producing and maintaining documentation on infrastructure requirements for Peppermint CX and CX365 Platforms including Hardware and Software (Systems Software) Statement of Works
• Management and Support of on-premises / dedicated clients where Peppermint IT Operations provides support and maintenance. Production of monthly reports for service review meetings where required.
• Promoting and maximising the IT Operations offering to our existing customers and new prospective customers
• Contributing to a continual improvement programme of the Peppermint products and service enhancements
• Activities will be a mixed blend of Project work for in-flight customers and BAU activity for live customers

What we need from you

Essential

• experience of managing complex IT infrastructure environments to defined SLAs based on Microsoft technologies
• experience of providing technical application-level support
• experience of providing SQL Management, backup, restore, basic script.
• experience of providing customer-facing consultancy
• experience of managing, deploying, documenting, and optimising a multi-tenant cloud environment
• excellent working knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools such as System Centre Operations Manager, Azure Application Insights, Red Gate etc.
• working knowledge of managing, documenting, and implementing technical product integrations of 3rd party applications
• ability to research and learn new technology, contributing to knowledge base and distribute to wider teams

Technical skills to include:

• Windows Server administration
• Advanced Windows OS Troubleshooting
• Network Traffic Troubleshooting (Browser Dev Tools, Fiddler)
• Monitoring Tools
• Active Directory Federation Services
• Internet Information Services (IIS)
• SSL Certificates

Desirable

• experience in Microsoft technologies including On Premise Dynamics CRM
• experience in Microsoft Azure certified to AZ-104
