Location: Remote, India

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Convert UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application, ensuring high visual impact.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Maintain and improve website and optimize applications for maximum speed and scale.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
• Participate in code reviews and educational programs to enhance skills in UI development and the latest web technologies.

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
• An understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or DurandalJS is preferable.
