We are looking to hire a Solution Architect to join the team responsible for our gaming platform. The platform is responsible for distributing our games to a global audience and manages millions of transactions per day.

Working within a cross-functional team you will be involved in designing technical solutions across a number of different systems, including remote game servers, jackpots and data. These utilise both microservice and event driven architecture deployed on cloud infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Platform Architecture, you will be responsible for ensuring that our system architecture is robust, scalable, and inline with industry best practices.

Location: remote/hybrid in UK or Poland

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.

A bit about you and your experience:

• 5+ years in a software engineering discipline. This does not need to be in an architecture role, but you should be able to demonstrate your interest in software architecture
• Creation of clear and concise architectural documentation and diagrams
• Software quality models such as ISO/IEC 25010
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Common architectural patterns for microservices and event-driven processes
• Cloud platforms and services such as AWS or GCP
• Kubernetes or similar orchestration frameworks
• Relational and NoSQL data stores
• High performance scalable transactional systems
• Information security and management in cloud-based systems
• Incorporating business continuity and disaster recovery planning into software architecture
• Working closely with development teams to advise on architectural best practice
