The LANCOM Management Cloud enables our customers to setup and monitor tens, hundreds, or thousands of LANCOM network devices. Using the latest technologies for modern cloud-based web applications, we work in agile, cross-functional teams to build software that makes network administrators happy.

And that’s where you come in! As Operations Engineer, you ensure the seamless operation of the infrastructure of our LANCOM Management Cloud.

Your challenge:

• Setting up and extending our Kubernetes-based Cloud systems, and provide help in operating them
• Improving our infrastructure with a focus on availability, reliability and performance
• Creating and presenting concepts that can be used as a decision-making basis
• Solving problems and disruptions in collaboration with developers
• Optionally, a rewarded participation in 24/7 availability

Your profile:

• You have solid knowledge in operating linux server systems and virtualized cloud infrastructure (OpenStack)
• Basic knowledge about data systems (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Cassandra) and Kubernetes is desirable
• Knowledge in working with web servers, networking (TCP/IP, HTTPS) and load balancing
• An analytic thinking process that allows you to understand correlations in complex systems
• You have multiple years of working experience in server administration and/or software development
• You have experience with modern development concepts in the Cloud context (GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes)
• You are committed, open-minded, self-confident and a team player
• You can efficiently communicate in English with your colleagues
• You can ideally read German and can follow conversations
