Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Data Warehouse Engineer specialising in PostgreSQL. As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data warehouse infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, develop data models, and optimize data pipelines. This role requires strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and data warehousing concepts
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes
- Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
