We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to support our internal RevOps function. This role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of revenue-related processes, and providing critical insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing revenue operations data infrastructure in fast-growing scaleups.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of our data warehouse, contributing to scalable data infrastructure and models that ensure reliable insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Administer, iterate, and potentially implement various architectural components of our RevOps platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data sources.
  • Collaborate and consult with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align on revenue goals and reporting needs.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering in a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience pulling data and building data lakes/warehouses/pipelines from Sales or Marketing systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot
  • Advanced knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
  • Experience with complex data modeling, ELT design, and experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark and PySpark and corresponding AWS technologies
  • Proven proficiency with Google Cloud or AWS for data storage, processing, and management.
  • Experience with Google Big Query (or similar) for large-scale data warehousing and querying
  • Proven experience in managing data pipelines and infrastructure in a rapidly scaling environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver data-driven insights

Nice to have skills for this role:

  • Experience supporting revenue operations, or a related field, especially in relation to commercial performance KPIs is a plus
  • Experience with tools like DBT, or Airflow, Fivetran
