Title: AVP Mgr-Software Engineering

Duties: Lead a team of engineers to implement a modern technology ecosystem to support various functions within MIS. Support multiple lines of businesses or applications at global level with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility. Provide organization, mentorship, and oversight for establishing and maintaining principles, responsibilities, standards, procedures, and accountability. Oversee development of baseline technology standards, tools, platforms, and processes in support of the overall Data, Product and Support strategy. Have an in-depth understanding of Data Engineering, Product Engineering, and related disciplines within the Technology sector. Work closely with business and technology colleagues to create Application, Data and other services built using modern, consumer focused solutions. Leverage DevOps practices to enable fast feedback loops using automation,
containers, infrastructure as code and automatic rollbacks. Manage global teams and vendor relationships to ensure services are delivered with the highest quality and within specified timeframes. Communicate events and their impact to stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership and drive their tactical and long-term resolutions. Support the "target state" application support model and drive toward its realization. Build and manage a high performing and empowered teams. Provide thought leadership in proper implementation of processes and tools that best align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineering Manager, IT Project Manager. or in a related technical position performing software development or designing technical solutions.
Must have experience with following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; applying knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading concepts, design patterns, PL/SQL, Postgres, Informatica, Unix, Shell, Oracle, Kubernetes, JBoss, Websphere, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; understanding and design capability for enterprise scale platforms for financial services systems with requirements for high availability, redundancy, and auto recovery; ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management, to ensure efficient and predictable IT service delivery; cybersecurity frameworks with a focus on protecting sensitive data, maintaining system integrity, and preventing unauthorized access through robust security measures; and understanding of cloud infrastructure management, development, security, and monitoring, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for cloud services. Domestic and international travel required approximately 25% of the time. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.

This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
