Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture)
Experience: 5–10 years in Cane Development, Marketing, and related functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Cane Development & Marketing - Plan, promote, and implement cane development activities in the assigned zone. 
- Strengthen cane procurement and marketing strategies to ensure adequate cane supply to the factory. 
- Build and maintain strong relations with farmers to encourage sustainable cane cultivation. 
 
- Farmer Engagement & Advisory - Provide technical guidance to farmers on improved cane varieties, crop protection, and modern cultivation techniques. 
- Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and training programs. 
- Promote balanced use of fertilizers, pesticides, and organic practices to improve cane yield and quality. 
 
- Mechanization & Agri Inputs - Implement modern cane cultivation practices through mechanization (planters, harvesters, etc.). 
- Coordinate timely supply of quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agri-inputs to farmers. 
- Encourage adoption of advanced irrigation practices (drip/sprinkler). 
 
- Operational Management - Ensure timely harvesting and supply of cane to the factory.
