Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture)
Experience: 5–10 years in Cane Development, Marketing, and related functions
Key Responsibilities:
Cane Development & Marketing
Plan, promote, and implement cane development activities in the assigned zone.
Strengthen cane procurement and marketing strategies to ensure adequate cane supply to the factory.
Build and maintain strong relations with farmers to encourage sustainable cane cultivation.
Farmer Engagement & Advisory
Provide technical guidance to farmers on improved cane varieties, crop protection, and modern cultivation techniques.
Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and training programs.
Promote balanced use of fertilizers, pesticides, and organic practices to improve cane yield and quality.
Mechanization & Agri Inputs
Implement modern cane cultivation practices through mechanization (planters, harvesters, etc.).
Coordinate timely supply of quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agri-inputs to farmers.
Encourage adoption of advanced irrigation practices (drip/sprinkler).
Operational Management
