Senior Software Development Lead

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, including up to 8 years in Java backend and microservices environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Pega modules, managing user stories and technical tasks to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Architect and develop scalable Pega application interfaces and integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity with external systems.
  • Enforce best practices in Pega architecture, design, and coding standards to maintain consistency and technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Pega applications, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Pega solutions.
  • Drive testing and quality assurance activities, validating that solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to team members.
  • Apply advanced object-oriented analysis and system integration skills to support business process modeling and flow charting.
    • Required Skills:
  • Pega PRPC version 8+ platform expertise
  • Pega Case Management, File Listener, Job Scheduler, Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, and UI Rules
  • Database management and integration skills with PL-SQL
  • Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design
  • Experience with Pega interfaces and connectors (SOAP, REST, MQ, File Listeners)
  • Pega security configuration and external authentication mechanisms
    • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with REST Services integration
  • Healthcare domain expertise
  • Familiarity with JavaScript for front-end enhancements
  • Advanced Pega security and PRPC Security configuration
  • Business process modeling or flow charting
    • Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA), valid for at least 4 years
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master) preferred
