Marketplace Operations Assistant presso The Fidget Game

📍 Remote | 🕒 20 hrs/week, hourly | 🌎 Eastern Time hours required

The Fidget Game is looking for a part-time Operations Assistant to support our marketplace operations and project execution. This role reports to our COO, and the one trait we're looking for above all else is dependability — you take a project, figure it out, and bring it back done, without needing to be chased or hand-held.

What you'll be doing (roughly 50/50 split):

1. Marketplace execution — Shopify listing updates and content uploads, TikTok Shop and B2B portal upkeep, daily inventory monitoring (pre-order toggling, partial-stock handling), a weekly report set, and blog uploads. (Note: Amazon listings are owned by our Amazon agency — this role flags issues but doesn't edit.)
2. Project execution & coordination — running and coordinating operational projects in Monday.com, including UPC/ASIN/FNSKU data harmonization, COGS backfill work, portal support tasks, and tracking/follow-ups across our ops portfolio.

Reporting structure:

• You'll report to the COO, who owns priorities and evaluation, while executing day-to-day marketplace tasks under our Marketplace & Systems Coordinator. As trust is built, you'll progressively take on more of the listings work.

Schedule:

• 20 hrs/week, distributed across the week — daily monitoring needs a short touch each business day (~1–1.5 hrs), with the remaining ~10–12 hrs/week for project work. Must be available during Eastern Time hours.

Our hiring process:

• One-way video interview → paid trial task → final interview with our COO → 90-day evaluation period.

Requirements

What you need:

• Hands-on experience with Shopify admin
• Familiarity with marketplace/e-commerce platforms (Seller Central, Walmart, etc.)
• Monday.com experience (required)
• Project coordination experience
• Strong spreadsheet skills
