The Assistant Director of People Talent and Experience with the Support of the Director of People
Experience will ensure all candidates and employees feel supported in their journey with People’s Arc of Suffolk. They
will work collaboratively with teams, other agency departments and programs and community partners to drive
communication, appreciation, and engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Human Resources, or related field
5+ years experience working in talent, people experience role
3+ years supervisory experience
Extensive working knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems. UKG preferred
Experience rolling out recognition and employee incentives
Ability to work alternate schedule for career fairs and community events as needed
Must be able to display a high level of professionalism and discretion and understand the sensitive nature of
confidential information with superior emotional intelligence.

Develops and implements recruitment strategies that meet organizational needs and is responsible for overall
recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of employees.
Recruits directly for Senior Leadership and People and Culture roles, assists with additional recruitment as
needed and during team absences
Completes audits on processes and provides data on retention and attrition rates and solutions to improve.
Generates new ways to grow team knowledge and cross trains them on other areas.
Ensures that recruitment procedures and practices comply with state, federal, and regulatory (OPWDD and
OCFS) requirements.
