About the Role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and business-minded FP&A leader to own our financial planning, forecasting and business performance analysis. In your day to day, your work will support strategic decision making across the entire business.
This person will help leadership understand what’s happening in the business, what’s likely to happen next and what decisions will drive the highest ROI.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain company-wide financial models and forecasts
- Own our quarterly, monthly and annual forecasting processes
- Create scenario models hiring, spending, pricing, product launches and subscription growth and churn
- Build dashboard and reports to track company KPIs
- Analyze business performance across all of our digital products and media entities
- Monitor and report on key metrics
- Partner with leadership on high-impact business decisions
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities in our business
- Build scalable financial reporting systems
- Translate complex financial analysis into simple business recommendations
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or high-growth startups
- You think like an owner. You care about the outcome and proactively surface insights and recommendations
- Proven track record of guiding forecasting in a fast growing business
- Experience creating financial pictures from multiple revenue streams, changing priorities and a lot of moving pieces
- Highly analytical and comfortable using data to drive decisions and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Able to balance short-term execution with long-term planning
- Enjoy and thrive in a collaborative environment where constant communication is key to making better decisions
